چکیده

This issue of Endoscopy focuses on total endo− scopic eradication of Barrett’s esophagus, a con− dition described by the Australian surgeon Nor− man Rupert Barrett in 1950 [1]. This paper con− siders methodological aspects of studies of abla− tive therapies for Barrett’s esophagus, and how the choices made by investigators with respect to study methodology and candidate selection might impact the clinical outcomes observed in these studies.
